Subject: Sept 14 ZOOM Meeting - Officers
I want to update you on the Association’s meeting on Tuesday.
The positions of President, Treasurer, Parliamentarian and Police Corresponding Secretary were at the end of their term.
Today, the President started to call for the Nominating Committee’s creation from the floor.
A motion was made to not appoint a Nominating Committee at this time. The reason was lack of participation online due to Covid. The motion stated that we will visit the situation every 3 months until a live meeting can be held safely. The motion was seconded and passed.
Our By-Laws state a Board member will serve in his or her position until removed by election unless they choose not too.
Current Board members stayed on. I want to thank the Board members for your service. I have a lot of faith in their opinions.
