Subject: James Anderson Memorial Park Closure
As a precautionary measure, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the San Antonio Police Benevolent Fund has made the difficult decision to temporarily close James Anderson Memorial Park.
The Park will be closed for two weeks beginning at midnight on Thursday, April 2nd, 2020. During the closure all key fobs will be deactivated.
The Board will continue to monitor the situation and follow the guidelines, rules, and orders that are being issued by our local, state, and national elected officials.
We will continue to assess and re-evaluate the situation and the closure during the two week period.
Any modification or extensions to the closure will be relayed to our members via the Daily Bulletin and social media.
The health and well-being of our members and their families is paramount to the Board. These are unprecedented times which require that we all take appropriate
and vital measures to ensure the health and safety of all. The closure is a necessary precaution to prevent the spread of this virus to our members, their families, and our community.
We understand the importance of the Park to our members and we will re-open the Park as soon as it is safe to do so. We greatly appreciate your understanding.
For any additional questions or concerns please contact one of the Board members or you can contact Officer Travis Reich at (210) 428-0380. Thank you.
Paul Biasiolli, Captain, Chairman / Benevolent Fund
