The board of directors has approved a major expansion to the park! The plan will include a brand new road, above the bathroom road.

This will bring several new sights to the park for our members' enjoyment and use.  With that: When using the park please be mindful of the construction equipment above the upper road.

Please stay out of that area and keep a good eye on children. Please no playing in the construction area.

Following the rules and guidelines set in place by our local, state, and national elected officials, the San Antonio Police Benevolent Fund is now lifting all COVID-related restrictions previously implemented by the Board.

Lifting of the restrictions the size of groups allowed reverts to what is stated in the Park rules, which is 15 persons per campsite and 30 persons at the large pavilion. The playground is also now open for use.

The San Antonio Benevolent Fund continues to strongly recommend the following:

• Members and/or guests having any symptoms, or a positive test result
should not come to the Park.

• Before coming to the Park members and guests should:

Take their temperatures before coming to the Park. Ensure their
response to all COVID related questions is “No”

• While at the Park, members and guest should continue to:

Practice social distancing of 6 feet between all persons while within
the Park. This includes on the boat dock, swim platforms, in the
          water, and the restrooms.

Wear masks when social distancing is not possible. Wash hands
frequently and use hand sanitizer.  Cover your mouth and nose when
coughing or sneezing. Members should not encroach on other’s
           campsites or surrounding areas.

Members should continue to disinfect all surfaces at the picnic sites
before use, as well as prior to leaving.

• Members are responsible for their actions and that of their guests.

Please remember, we are still all in this together, so we ask all our
members and guests to follow the above recommendations to help us
          keep everyone safe and healthy.

James Anderson Park – Medina Lake

Members!! Due to members violating the rules we have had several suspensions of park privileges. I am posting these not to embarrass anyone but for members to pay attention to the rules.
The board and myself do not enjoy giving suspensions so please follow the rules.

1) a member was given a 30 day suspension for allowing their son to have access to the park without the member present at the park.
2) pending suspension for a member who was at the park and left their guests with member's key fob inside the park. The member had no intention of returning.
3) pending suspension for a member giving key fob to daughter. The daughter is not a member and brought 14 guests(total with member then would have been 16).
Member arrived approximately 4 hours after the daughter and her guests arrived.

When you signed for the key fob you accepted the rules and signed that you understood the rules.
Rules posted on this page feel free to read them.
