Summer at James Anderson Park

James Anderson Park – Medina Lake
Dan Higginbotham is the caretaker and point of contact any business at the lake. His number is 210-870-9484.
The lake is at the best water level we have seen in many years. This creates more opportunity for outside people to cross
the waters and enter, use and trespass onto the property. As members we need to be diligent in looking after the grounds and equipment.
If you see any person(s) walking around our grounds or by our boat/swim docks it is not rude or impolite to ask who they are with.  It’s in the park rules.
Park rules are attached :

Most recent Update on John Patmor

Just an update on John Patmor. He is back at the Methodist Hospital at the Medical Center. He tried Rehab for over a week and it's NOT progressing satisfactorily. He still has an infection in his right hip. They are going to open his right hip back up and leave it open. They are still trying to rid his body of the staph infection. If they can't get it cleared up, they are contemplating removing all the hardware, from the last Hip Replacement Operation, and starting over again.
He's had two Hip Replacements over the years. He is presently in room 981 at the Methodist.
His cell is 210 2194006, if you want to call him and keep his spirits up.

Big John has been moved into a Rehab Hospital to help him regain his walking ability. He is still having some pain in his hips from the Staph Infection and a lot of difficulty trying to walk.

John will be 84 on July 8th, so you can imagine the difficulty in exerting yourself. Please keep him in your prayers for a full recovery. We need him back on the Golf Course with the rest of us.

Update on John Patmor

From: Charles Ross
Subject: John Patmor
I visited with John this afternoon. He's now in room 489 of the Medical Center Methodist. He was asleep when I went in. He awoke about 10 minutes later. I stayed about 45 minutes. He wants to go home real bad, as is understandable, but he knows he can't until he gets rehab and can prove his ability to at least walk around on his own. He still has an Infection but it's getting better. He says he tried to walk to the restroom earlier but was unsuccessful. I talked to the nurse, when I left the room, and asked her how he was doing. She said he was better than yesterday.
I asked her about his walking ability. The nurse said that he did walk to the restroom and back. It was slow but he made it.
She says he probably doesn't remember because of the meds. His heart rate was 75 and the other signs were OK. His blood sugar was a little high but not too bad.

He says he misses everybody and really appreciates all the concern and the friendship.
Let's continue our Prayers for our Brother. GOD Bless.
Mike Ross
