Subject: Prayers for Rudy Longoria

Fellow retirees,
It's with a heavy heart, I must give you guys an update on Rudy Longoria's medical condition.
As many of you may already be aware, he has been battling liver cancer for almost a year.  He has been treated by several doctors and even participated in a cancer study recently.  Unfortunately, the cancer has won the battle.

On Monday, Rudy and Mary received the news they didn't want to hear.  The treatment was not working and nothing more they can do for him.  The tumor has grown and continually caused him problems with his digestive system, thus loss his appetite.   Although, Rudy is able to walk, he has become very weak, frail and wants only to rest.  Rudy and his wife, Mary will be meeting with Hospice so they can help tend to all his needs and make him as comfortable as they can.  That is the most important thing right now, that he not be in pain.

Rudy is at home should understand his energy levels are very low.
May God give them the strength to deal with this difficult time.
Please keep them in your prayers....

People are using the park and gaining access to the park without keys. The main gate is left open. You must be a member of the Benevolent Fund and have a key to use our park.

Also the BBQ scrapers and buckets are disappearing. Those are property of the Benevolent Fund so leave them at the campsites please. This is a waste of money to replace these items so please keep an eye on them.

Please remember you are responsible for your guests and must be present with them at the park. Please throw away your trash in the dumpster on the way out of the park. The animals and wind will spread it around. Click on the website for updates.
