If you lost your key or never had a key, then you will need to pay a $10 deposit for the FOB. Members will be required to sign for the FOB as well as receiving the Park Rules. James Anderson Memorial Park was conceived with the SAPD Officers and their families in mind. The Park is for EXCLUSIVE use of the BENEVOLENT FUND MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS. In order to preserve this concept, the BOARD of DIRECTORS passed the following rules. The intent of the rules is to enhance the availability of the park to more members and to provide a safer, more enjoyable environment. ALL members are to enforce, as well as, abide by all Park Rules. Violations of these rules may result in the member having their Park privileges suspended. Suspensions are determined by the Board of Directors. Members facing a suspension will be afforded the opportunity to address the Board. The Boards’ decision is final.
Spouses – Members spouses are authorized to use the park in the absence of the member and may bring their children only. The member’s children will be allowed only if accompanied by the member or the member’s spouse.
The PAVILION is available by RESERVATION for groups of 10 - 30 persons. The reservations may be made thirty days (30) in advance by contacting the Park Caretaker. Other than the listed Holidays above, Reservations are for one 24 hour period, per member, beginning at 0930am and ending the following day at 0930am.

Please advise your Family members about these service Currently SAPD has a group of officers who volunteer their time to be members of the Family Assistance Program. Listed below are specific guidelines to determine when a Family Assistance Officer enters the life of a member to provide assistance: A. Death of Active Officer * Notification of next of kin, if death occurs on-duty; * Transportation to hospital for family members; * Notification of the SAPD chaplain; * Assistance in making funeral arrangements; * Assistance in arranging immediate financial aid; * Assistance in preparing necessary paperwork to apply for all eligible benefits; and * Counseling for family members of officers killed in the line of duty. B. Death of Retired Officer * Assistance with contacting the Honor Guard to request the services provided for retirees; and * Family counseling and advice if requested. * Notification of the SAPD chaplain; * Assistance in making funeral arrangements; * Assistance in preparing necessary paperwork to apply for all eligible benefits; While there are numerous other life occurrences that may impact our member’s lives, there are other resources available within the City organization or the SAPOA.
