Subject: Pension Fund COLA Consumer Price Index-U for calendar year 2016 is 2.1%. Those retiring 9/30/1999 and earlier will receive 2.1% COLA increase effective 1/1/2017. First visits will be for one hour to fill out your personal profiles and acquaint the doctor with any existing conditions you might already have. Some members have called and picked up this paper work and mailed/ brought it back before their visit. This not meant an Emergency Clinic, cases will be handled but will be turned over to EMS for disposition. The Staff has experienced that quite a few members come in for routine checkups but have real medical problems, they did not know of OR never bothered to follow up with their other doctors. This is taking additional time to handle and delaying schedule appointments. There are already plans for additional staff and doctors as the need arises. Location is 3602 Paesanos Pkwy off 1604.
