Rita Mitchell, Wife of Retired Sgt Sid Mitchell
Rita had passed away on 10-25-2018. She belonged to St Ann’s Catholic Church. Rita and Sid liked to travel and loved to play Bunco.
Sid is suffering from alzheimer's so communicating with him and getting info is pretty difficult.
May Rita rest in peace.
Louie Mendiola Sr Passed away on 11-17-2018
A great Business and Personal friend has been called to be with the Lord.
To those in the South Central Texas Law Enforcement Community who were ever in need of uniforms or equipment, 10 to 1 you knew this man,
Mr. Louie Mendiola. "Big Louie", "Louie", "Louie Sr." was a great man who Code Blue Police Supply will miss.
He was a Navy Vet who treated every peace officer he encountered with respect and dignity. His customer service was second to none.
Something that has gotten lost in today's business. His presence made Code Blue less of a business and more like of a second home.
Over the years Louie has fought the ugly disease that is cancer, his body couldn't fight no more.
Now he is in a place of everlasting rest.
Arrangements are pending. They will be posted as soon as they are confirned.
Armando Ynostrosa, Retired SAPD

Subject: Lil's Funeral Arrangements
David’s wonderful wife Lil, who had been battling multiple health issues for the past several months, had passed peacefully this afternoon in the hospital.
Dave and Lil were simply an amazing and spiritual couple who had spent 57 years together...ever since high school.
It was extremely difficult after the shock of him having just left her to pick up some fast food to smuggle into her room.
Lil had completed a dialysis treatment earlier and was in good spirits when he left...a very nice moment for both of them.
The Lord works in strange ways beyond our understanding, but rest assured that this fine Christian Believer is now at peace with our Maker
Lillie was very concerned that she would be out of the hospital in time to take me to the Golden Corral ( our favorite restaurant ) on my birthday, November 20 th.
Since she was unable to keep this date, I decided that the best birthday that I could have was to be with her in spirit.
Arrangements: Schertz Funeral Home 2117 FM 3009, Schertz Texas. The visitation will be November 20, 2018, from 5 pm to 9 pm.
As you all know, she would want everyone to be comfortable and wearing their every day clothes.
A Grave Side Service will be held at Fort Sam at 10 am on November 23, 2018
Thank you all for your love and support.
May God grant peace and comfort in this time of worldly loss, and may we fully appreciate the blessing and gift that we enjoyed in the person of Lil Renken.
