Retiree's wife recognized in SA Express News.

This Bio of Mrs. Hildebrand was
published in the Express-News
on Sunday June 28, 2009.
Suzanne Hildebrand, a Midland
native, has been married to
retired SAPD Robbery Detective,
retired District Attorney
Criminal Investigator and former
Live Oak Mayor Ray
Hildebrand for 31 years.
The most important thing she has done in her life has been
to become sole care provider for Ray who suffered a massive
stroke on April 16, 2008. She has become a strong patient
advocate and resource for others in the community who
look to her for advice and direction on how to deal with
patient and caretaker issues, as well as the legal issues
relating thereto. She has gained a wealth of information
regarding medical care, dealing with physicians, hospitals,
rehabilitation facilities and other health care providers.
Suzanne started the first MADD Chapter in Texas, serving
as President for four years; she was appointed Commissioner
of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer
Standards & Education by Governor Bill Clements.
Ray has devoted 48 years of his life to serving and
protecting the people of Bexar County. Suzanne hopes,
by virtue of this blog, to carry on his legacy of serving the
community. Suzanne also works full time as Legal
Administrator for the Law Office of Don W. Saunders.
